One of the primary areas close to the strip and downtown is West Las Vegas. This area has much to do and see due to its proximity to one of the main tourist attractions in the US. We have found six of the best venues for you to host a private event.
The Doyle
Our first venue is just north of the strip. The interior has huge vaulted ceilings with white walls that can be outfitted how you prefer. They can hold up to 230 guests and they will provide tables and chairs for all guests. The space is over 5,000 square feet and can be rented on a Saturday for $6,000 as the starting price. Place on 7th
Our first venue that is located downtown and near the strip is this event facility. This venue is 11,500 square feet (8,500 of which is outside), has a built-in bar, and an outdoor stage that is ideal for musical performances. They claim to host up to 750 people for a reception or cocktail hour. No prices are listed online but here is their website.

MEET Las Vegas
In the heart of downtown is this new event venue. This dynamic space has three levels that can be customized to your event ideals. They have indoor areas and open air pavilions, along with state of the art lighting and audio/visual displays. With over 40,000 square feet of event space, this venue can do it all. Fabrizio
This facility is on the northern end of the strip, but off the main area. This venue can accommodate up to 320 guests and can fit most on their enormous dance floor. The venue is 8,000 square feet total and comes with a portable bar. Their customizable zone allows you to choose the color and type of linens, these will compliment well the upscale interior design of the venue. Lastly, the link to their website can be found here.

Nine Twenty
This venue is billed as a community hub for all to come and connect. They have a unique multicolored exterior with sharp contrasts that will attract your design eyes. This is an indoor/outdoor event center with the outdoor area being 8,100 square feet and the indoor area is 11,200 square feet. No prices are listed online but here is the link to their website.

Renowned Events
This brand new event center in Las Vegas arts district is ready for your design concept. The can house 100 guests seated or 150 standing. You can rent the entire venue for the full day (14 hours) for $3,250. They will provide you chairs and tables for all of your guests. Unfortunately you cannot bring any alcohol into the facility.
